I am a local Bundjalung Goorie man, and my work is with Aboriginal men and women (dubais), that have been affected by alcohol and other drugs. I work in the local Goorie communities of Casino, Coraki / Box Ridge, Kyogle, Tabulam / Jubulam Village, Muli Muli / Woodenbong , and the surrounding areas.
My job involves providing Drug and Alcohol Awareness talks in the local schools and communities. Case Management involves one to one "yarn up" with my clients. Arrangements for Intake and Referral to local GP Health Workers, Hospitals, Detox and Rehab Services with in the local and state Health Services.
I work in partnership and consult with various people who work in the following services, Legal, Court, Probation and Parole, Corrective, and of course the Health and Education services.
Within Dharah Gibinj, I work in association with (Social and Emotional Well-Being), to provide the Boomerang Caring Program
