Dharah Gibinj Aboriginal Medical Service Aboriginal Corporation vision is to achieve policy, planning and development while continuing to be a culturally appropriate medical service. We can do this by involving community members from the five Aboriginal communities of Tabulam/Jubullum, Kyogle, Woodenbong/Muli Muli, Casino and Coraki/Box Ridge.
We need to promote self-determination and build on community's capacity to plan for its own development.
The task is to progress the development of Dharah Gibinj Aboriginal Medical Service Aboriginal Corporation and outlying Aboriginal communities.
The focus will be on strengthening partnerships, participation by community members, determining goals and activities and also effective negotiation to assist the design and implementation of community-based planning.
